Sept - Halloween 2020

Before I show your our 2020 Halloween I need to show you something Bridger made for me one day..... completely out of the blue...  AND during the long 4 months of single parenting. It made my day, my month, my year, my decade...I'll never forget his act of kindness.

With limited Halloween resources and being away from NYC, we let Target make the costume for us this year. Target did not let us down. Bridger wanted to be a fighter jet, done. Bronxton wanted to be an astronaut, done. Brooklyn didn't really care, so she was content to be a mermaid with really cool hair. It was an interesting year of trick or treating as some people assumed children wouldn't go out with COVID. Well, we didn't let anything stop us. We trick or treated and got some odd things, like $1 dollar bills, movie size boxes of candy, and even a few stuffies but we loved every minute of it!

After the new costumes were purchased (early in September)

And then trying on each others costumes....

The big day....HALLOWEEN has come... its still almost 80 degrees...

Bronxton and Brooklyn with their school friends Jane and Rosie. So cute!

In addition to Halloween we had a host of other exciting events in Sept and Oct 2020....like a visit to the Zoo with Ellie.

We made lots of new friends...

And enjoyed our time at the playground with Brooklyn's new friend Slyvie (and sister Sage)...

I swear they love each other...

Brooklyn was always trying to sneak away with them.

Lizard hunting, a favorite Florida past time...

We made several visits to Veterans Memorial Center (a tiny museum in Merrit Island) small but we LOVE it...

Brooklyn loved the rescue dog best.

And we loved taking Sunset walks, enjoying some art and beautiful views along the way...
