Bronxton's Baptism April 30, 2022

Bronxton's baptism was Saturday evening, April 30th 2022. It was a really lovely baptism, I felt the spirit strongly. We had Grandma Karen come from Utah, Carl and Fam from NJ, and many ward members come to support him.  In Sacrament meeting, the morning after his baptism, Bronxton decided to get up and to share his testimony. Since it was completely unprompted I really wasn't sure what to expect. When his turn finally came this is roughly what he said "As many of you know last night I was baptized. After I was baptized, I felt good. Then I had my confirmation, and I felt good. I felt like I did the right thing. Then when I got home I had the same feeling but stronger, that I did the right thing."

It was tender and very sincere, we even had a few rows of people start clapping after he said Amen. While unorthodox it was sweet because many are new or just visiting our church for the first time. I am grateful he received his own witness that he did the right thing by being baptized. I know he made the right decision, but it's most important that he knows it himself.

Then as if my heart wasn't already bursting Bridger got up and said that being a witness for Bronxton's baptism helped him realize how important it is to be a witness of Christ. So I felt like I received my Mother's Day gift a week early this year. I couldn't be happier for my two boys and their tender testimonies.

Here's some captures of the spiritual day!
