After being in Florida for almost one full year without visiting Disney, they day finally came. We had to go to celebrate E'lles birthday. She just happened to have picked the coldest day of the year in Florida, high of 50 (I actually had to go to Walmart to buy a coat) haha! It was great fun except all the mask police. 

The vacation didn't really end with yet another visit to KSC, we really utilized those annual passes.

Welcome 2021 ....or so we thought?! January 2021

 I'll be honest, I had high hopes for 2021... I was sure that the worst of 2020 was behind us (or at least draconian lockdowns, removal of personal freedoms, and forced mask wearing)... Little did I know that 2021 would be the year of forced vaccinations, but we'll discuss that another day. The nice thing about staying in Florida for what turned out to be 18 months was...the amazing friends we made. We were lucky enough to have E'lle and TJ close by during our time close to Disney. Once we moved to Cape Canaveral we made many other neighborhood and ward friends: Naomi Gunnel, The Peck Family, The Haskell's, The Loftus', The Hendricks, The Munster's, The Budges, The Gunnels, The Shumway's, Chrysteenya and Elijah Doan, Nate and Maryam Perrins, Pat Bates, Jane and Rosie and parents, Sage and Sylvie's fam, Ashley Clarke and her boys and many many more! We really love our Florida friends, and they made it feel like home!!

January is a big month of celebrating for us with Dad's birthday, Bridgers birthday and our Anniversary...

Our year started with a visit to St. Augustine and visiting Castillo de San Marcos... the oldest town in Florida!

Then i took the boys to Ron Jon's to find a gift for dad's birthday. They may have gotten a bit distracted...

January 11, 2021

Then 3 days later, January 14, 2021, we got to CELEBRATE BRIDGERS 10th BIRTHDAY. We had him get ready for school, and then when walking out the door a car came to pick us up. It was dad telling us we had passes for Universal Studios, and Bridger got to skip school for the day. HOORAY! 

It was a perfect day, and we had the place almost to ourselves. Bridger got to ride several roller coasters with minimal lines. Brooklyn and I enjoyed Dr. Seuss land very much. We rode Cat in the Hat at least 12 times that day. Happy Birthday Bridger!

January 24, 2021 Micah and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. To celebrate we took an airboat ride in Christmas, Florida. We saw lots and lots of gator friends and even some cows...

We ended January with a bang by going to a petting farm (we invited friends) and of course a visit to our favorite place.... the BEACH!
