Our first few months together were unbelievably special, as they are with the birth of Bridger, Bronxton, and every new child that completes a unique and necessary piece of the family puzzle.

The birth and 'coming home' experience brings a solemn reverence to the house that I had never before experienced before having children.

An ineffable joy from from the depth of the soul. A spirit uniting with spirit on a new plane, in a new world, with a new body (for baby AND mom).
Specifically the first week of my babies' life, I will always remember and HOPE to always remember.

I have tried to be diligent in preserving and organizing photographs here and in other places (baby books/annual calendars). I want to help my children look back to see their sweet faces as babes, to know of their divine heritage, to see they were once 'so stinkin' cute'!
But even more than all that I want them to know of the love I felt to become THEIR new parent here on earth, the love I felt to see a piece of myself and dad in their own beautiful countenance. I want them to see, feel, and taste of these deep feelings springing from my soul, those for which words cannot be uttered.
Each of these newborn pictures helps me remember a small droplet of that precise moment. A droplet of the loving, a droplet of the bonding, a droplet of the heaven that sprang into life.
Perhaps that is the power in pictures. The memory it recalls, the words your heart sang, and just the honest rawness and reality of it all.
We couldn't kiss you enough Brooklyn...
or look at you enough,....
admire your beauty enough,...
or hold you too much.
Your mamma adores you, now...
Forever....
And always.....
Brooklyn Geneva Day.
Your name is special. Brooklyn came from the love that began on the Brooklyn Bridge, were Dad and I had one of our first dates. He came to New York to visit me after meeting through a mutual friend at the time and things went from there... We first met June 8, 2010, dated long distance about 4-5 months, engaged at Cannon Beach, Oregon about Halloween time. I moved back to Utah Thanksgiving, and January 24th we were married in the Logan Temple, sealed for all time and eternity January 24th 2011.
Geneva is the first name of your Great Grandma, Geneva Denison Clegg (my father's mother). She was a special lady that loved her children and grandchildren very much. She always made sure we were well fed. We are happy you can carry on a legacy of such a wonderful lady, I hope you learn lots about her someday as you get older.

And the love you have with your brothers started from the day you met. As your oldest brother, Bridger loves to keep you happy, content, and play with you,
Bronxton loves to blow you kisses.
Both are sublimely happy to have you in our home....
and have a new baby sister.

I hope they will always protect you.
And laugh with you.
Because after all, we're a family.
Unique as Bronxton's smile.
Now, with your arrival, we are a complete family.
