House 5 Windsor Hills Condo: May-July 2020

As our time in the 6 bdrm Windsor Hill house came to a close we began looking for a Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach rental. With the school year closing out we knew we could stay for the summer until school resumed in September, so it seemed like a natural fit to stay. We felt like it may be our only opportunity to live by the beach. As we looked at rentals it became clear they were old and very run down, so we negotiated a great rate with an owner in Windsor Hills, Laurie, for her 3 bdrm condo. It was a tad smaller, but it was next to the giant community pool with slides that had just re-opened. We loved Windsor Hills so continued our Orlando area adventure in Four Corners...

Some of our memorable adventures... include a cruise ship welcome

Amazing Rainbows (after the daily thunderstorm)...

and sunsets over the lake.

A fun new home for Brooklyn to explore with kids furniture, reading, lots of schoolwork, and saying thank you for on-line classes to our teachers...

They really loved Brooklyns tiny Pac n' play (this is the 6th one she's slept in)

Just like my brothers...

We celebrated Fathers Day... (mom was in NYC cleaning our apartment for renters)

And got used to mask wearing...

Buried our weapons of war...(literally) in home church.

And celebrated E'lles Dads' birthday in style with a burger cake.

Of course we spent more time in the pool! (and it was a HUGE pool)

And we had an indoor teeny tiny pool

And we took many walks (nature walks, to basketball/tennis courts, around the lake, to the playground, and we even walked to WalMart)!

We also did a fair amount of shopping as stores were one of the few things open... Brooklyn in heaven...

Our COUSINS (Alec, Krystal, AJ, Lyla, Caroline, and Cardon) came for a visit in their RV!

And we took another visit to Old Town when it reopened...

Twistee Treat

Celebration...

And on our last night... we said GOODBYE to all the fun memories of living in a Disney rental for almost 4 months (with no Disney to visit)....
