Back to School & Halloween 2016

First day of School at MSC (PS 333) Manhattan School for Children. Not only were we lucky enough to get into a lottery school, but so did Oliver (Bridger's best buddy  from church) and they even got into the same Kindergarten class with Amy!!! What are the odds.

And even though school had started it still felt like summer with some last adventures in warm September air... (DUMBO)

Jane's Carousel

Two of my favorite shots of the city, not too shabby...

As Presidential Election time is nearing, Bronxton has my vote!!!

Brothers

2nd City Walk with E'lle and Amber! This time we started at the top of Manhattan/Inwood and walked the Hudson to Chelsea Piers (about 13 miles)

Cutest Halloween Pumpkin

Who me?

For the first time in year Micah dressed up for Halloween, can you blame him, CALVIN needed a Hobbes... When we went trick or treating in Harlem, Micah was mistaken for many different types of tiger and also was asked for many photo ops. He was called everything from "Tony the Tiger" to "Tigger". But it's ok, we knew what tiger he was and who he belonged to...

So. much. candy.

They decided to get organized and sort into categories.

Fall in the city, Brooklyn Bridger was a special place from the time we met.

Thank you to my sister Diann who captured a family shot worthy of our Christmas card that year!

Bronxton with his cute Nursery mates - Graham, Simon, Finn

 Ready to skateboard mom!

One of the boys favorite stop in Central Park, the Dana Discovery Center by the Meer on 110th. I can't tell you how many pictures we have of these soldiers...

Summer Adventures 2016

To me the Summer really begins in June. In NYC the schools do not get out until end of June, so I included Bridger's Pre-Kindergarten Graduation! This was a FLAT STANLEY project Bridger from June 2016 with his cousins in Minnesotta. Cousin Daisy colored the Flat Stanley's for Bridger & Bronxton, HURRAY!!!

Cute Bronxton found a pen and colored all over his legs...

We LOVE fun museums like Childrens Museum in Brooklyn!

Bridger completed his first soccer course with Dalia's Dad Mario, and his Uncle. It was HOT!

Bronxton finding girlfriends at the playground that insisted he be the baby in their bed! He loves the attention and being coddled by them.

Bridger's graduation day and last day of Pre-K! Thanks to Miss Finchum he had an amazing year!

We got out of school just in time to visit our cousins and friends in Utah for the 4th of July! Unfortunately Bronxton had an injury in just the first few days of falling off a kitchen stool at the Walk's house. He went to urgent care and had x-rays, no breaks, but really swollen for a few weeks. You can see his little splint he wore as it healed.

Temple Square with my Cuties...

We wore our kids pretty thin with all the activities, friends and late nights while in Utah!

My cute boys ready to go to church in Harlem 1st ward!

Summer Fun!

Governor's Island

Someday...

We purchase our 2 bdrm apartment on the 4th floor of the same building as the studio, 242 W 112th. The first projects to tackle were remodeling the kitchen, restaining floors, and painting. Here's a few before shots!

Those bars made it feel like a prison, although the boys loved them. We pulled them out!

Beautiful walls never painted, ready for our touch!

We ended the summer camping with the Salmons, Cromars, and Westerns. It was so much fun!
